Hyderabad: Advocate attacked by unidentified persons at Khairatabad IMAX Road

A Kalyan Vamshikeer, (48), a advocate suffered bleeding wound when two unknown persons attacked him while he was on a morning walk at Khairatabad IMAX Road on Tuesday morning.

Hyderabad: An advocate suffered bleeding wound when two unknown persons attacked him while he was on a morning walk at Khairatabad IMAX Road on Tuesday morning.

A Kalyan Vamshikeer, (48), a advocate and a resident of Khairatabad was walking on the road along with his pet dog at IMAX Road around 5.30 am. When he reached, KFC joint on the stretch, two persons came in wrong route on a scooter and picked up an argument with him. One of the suspects took out a knife from the pocket and attacked the Kalyan, who received an injury on his hand. Another person got down from the vehicle and took away the mobile phone of Kalyan and escaped, said Khairatabad police.

On information, the police reached the spot and shifted the advocate to a private hospital where he is undergoing treatment. The Khairatabad police registered a case and took up investigation.

Kalyan is representing Hindu organization Bajrang Dal in several cases. The advocates bar council condemned the incident and demanded a fair probe into the incident.
