Hyderabad: Hyderabad Albatross emerged champions, while Ahmedabad Aces and Delhi Royals finished second and third respectively in the second leg of the Golf Rendezvous Pro-Am League (GRPL) – The Royal Trail of India at Haldi Golf County here.
Unlike traditional golf tournaments, where individual brilliance often dominates the headlines, GRPL once again proved why team golf creates a different kind of drama.
While Hyderabad celebrated victory in the Hyderabad leg, the overall league race remained wide open. Thanks to their consistency across the first two legs, CapGains Ahmedabad Aces continue to lead the overall GRPL standings, reinforcing their position as one of the most balanced teams in the competition.
Hyderabad’s triumph propelled Haldi Golf County Hyderabad Albatross into second place overall, while KHT Bangalore Eagles occupy third position, keeping the pressure firmly on the league leaders.
With multiple legs still to come, the battle for the coveted Red Leader’s Cap and a place in the International Finale is becoming increasingly intense, with every team firmly in contention.
