Hyderabad: Commemorating the 146th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India — Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel — the students of Army Public School, Bolarum, observed the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on October 30. The school organised a painting competition on the theme ‘Unity in Diversity’, in collaboration with 1 EME Centre.
Students from grade III to VIII took part in the competition and expressed their creative ideas. Brigadier Sarbjit Singh, Commandant 1 EME Centre and Chairman of Army Public School, Bolarum, was the chief guest and felicitated students with prizes. He hailed the efforts of the students.
Principal of Army Public School Bolarum, Smitha Govind, motivated the students to keep the spirit of patriotism high and emulate the ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
