Hyderabad: Armed Reserve Constable detained for alleged molestation in Madhuranagar
A woman walking near Madhuranagar Police Station was allegedly molested by a biker, who fled the scene. CCTV footage identified the offender as an on-duty Armed Reserve constable, who was promptly taken into custody by Hyderabad Police for further investigation
Hyderabad: An Armed Reserve constable was reportedly detained for allegedly molesting a woman in Madhuranagar.
As per information available, the woman was walking along the road near the police station when a biker approached her from behind and touched her inappropriately before speeding away.
Shocked by the incident, the woman immediately approached the Madhuranagar Police Station and lodged a complaint.
Acting swiftly, police teams analysed the CCTV footage from the vicinity and identified the accused rider. Further investigation revealed that the offender was an on-duty AR Constable attached to the Hyderabad Police.
He was taken into custody.
