Hyderabad: The management of All Saints High School (ASHS), Gunfoundry on Tuesday has launched a relief fund for rehabilitation of slum dwellers in Chaderghat and has urged its alumni, students and their parents, as well as well-wishers to contribute for the cause.
“For the past three-decades, Montfort Brothers have been committed to the slum dwellers of Chaderghat and its adjoining areas, specially taking care of the primary education of the slum kids by operating nearly 15 centres on the banks of Musi. We now also have a full-fledged middle school at Chaderghat. We have been providing services in the area under the banner of People’s Initiative Network (PIN),” the ASHS in a release said.
At present, the ASHS management has contributed to PIN to take care of a month’s provisions for 50 families in the area. Donations and relief material in the form of rice, dal, sugar and even bed sheets, blankets can be dropped between 9.30 am and 12 noon at ASHS camp. Cash donations can be made in the name of All Saints’ High School, Account number 0900053000000024, Bank Name: South Indian Bank, branch: Extension Counter, St. Joseph’s Degree College. (IFSC: SIBL0000900). A record of the collection and contribution made by individuals will be well maintained for official scrutiny and display, the ASHS management said.
