Hyderabad: GTM Buddy, a city-based software-as-a-service startup, said it has raised about Rs 14.5 crore ($2 million) in its seed round. Seed fund is the first official money that a business venture or enterprise raises.

GTM Buddy’s platform processes sales enablement content of an organisation and gives out relevant information to prospective buyers. The funding was led by Stellaris Venture Partners, a venture capital firm that invests in tech and tech-enabled consumer and enterprise startups in India. The funds raised will be used for enhancing product capabilities and building sales and marketing teams, said GTM Buddy Co-founder and CEO Sreedhar Peddineni.

Prior to GTM Buddy, Peddineni co-founded Host Analytics, which offered financial planning and analysis solutions. This was acquired by Vector Capital, a release said.
