Hyderabad-based IIMC gets autonomous status from UGC
The college has been accredited with an "A " grade by NAAC in the 3rd cycle with a score of 3.27 in 2023 and is also an ISO Certified College.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad-based Indian Institute of Management and Commerce (IIMC) has achieved ‘Autonomous Status’ from University Grants Commission (UGC) for a period of 10-years from 2025-26 academic year, a press release on Monday said.
The college has been accredited with an “A+” grade by NAAC in the 3rd cycle with a score of 3.27 in 2023 and is also an ISO Certified College.
Established in 1973, IIMC, which is managed by experienced and dedicated faculty and non-teaching staff, has been renowned for its academic excellence in Commerce, Management, and Sciences.
The college, which began with 100 students in 1973, now has a total strength of 1700 students. The college offers B.Com (Honors, Computer Applications, and Business Analytics), BBA and B.Sc. (Data Science) courses.
Following the UGC recognition, the College Chairman, Prof. Vangapalli Vishwanatham, Honorary Secretary Challa Prasanna, other senior management members, Principal Kura Raghu Veer, faculty, and non-teaching staff expressed their joy and gratitude to all well-wishers
