Hyderabad-based Samskruti Foundation receives Governor’s Award

Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based Samskruti Foundation has received Governor’s Award for Cultural Leadership Centres in Colleges promoting ‘Be Good Do Good’ activities through College level Cultural Leadership Centres and research on public policy and culture linkages, a press release said.
Samskruti Foundation, which was established in 2009, is a registered trust dedicated to fostering Indian culture and traditions.
Its vision is to become a National Resource Centre for Culture, while its mission focuses on preserving and promoting Bharatiya culture through research, education, and dialogue, Dr C Umamaheswara Rao, Chairman, Samskruti Foundation, who received the award from Governor of Telangana State, Jishnu Dev Varma, said.
By engaging the intelligentsia and conducting diverse programmes, we (the Foundation) seek to inspire individuals to uphold Indian values and traditions. To reach the objectives, the foundation focuses on youth through Cultural Leadership Centers and Intellectuals through Samskruti Adhyayana Kendram, he said.
Samskruti Foundation’s initiatives effectively combine traditional values with the needs of contemporary society. Through programmes such as Vivek Band, National Science Day, Samskruti Samvad, Tejaswini, and Rakhi for Soldiers, the Foundation not only works to preserve Indian culture but also actively fosters a sense of responsibility and national pride among the youth.
