Hyderabad: Hyderabad scored an eight-wicket win against Assam in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy (under-23) cricket championship at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium here on Sunday.
The scores: Assam 246 in 76.5 overs & 186 in 47.1 overs (Saurav Mousum 53, Ayushman Malakar 35, Nitin Sai Yadav 4/33) lost to Hyderabad 293 in 85 overs & 140/2 in 26.3 overs (P Aman Rao 85, P Raghava 41).
Hyderabad loses to Goa
Goa recorded a 51-run win against Hyderabad in the BCCI Senior women’s one-day cricket championship thanks to a fine century by Purvaja P Verlekar (166 no, 152b, 19×4, 2×6) at Ranchi.
The scores: At Ranchi: Goa 294/8 in 50 overs (Purvaja P Verlekar 166 no, Tanisha 35, Poorva Bhaidkar 37) bt Hyderabad 243 in 46.5 overs (G Trisha 33, Sandhya Gora 83, Shrey 3/35).
Big win for Chandigarh
Chandigarh recorded a 63-run win against Hyderabad-B under-19 team in the women’s (under-19) practice match in Chandigarh.
