Hyderabad: A beautician approached the Madhura Nagar police alleging she was sexually assaulted and cheated by a man.
The man, she said, had promised to marry her and they both lived together for the last two years. Recently, he dumped her and went absconding after collecting money from her.
As per available information, the 27-year-old woman who is a native of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh came to the city in search of work and started working as a beautician. She became friends with the suspect, who is a cab driver and both eventually shared a live-in-relationship and stayed in a rented house in Madhura Nagar.
She alleged that he had promised to marry her and sexually exploited her when they both lived together. “However, recently he started avoiding saying their religions were different and went absconding,” police said.
Case is under investigation.
