Hyderabad: Bike catches fire on Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge

A motorcycle caught fire on the Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning, causing panic and heavy traffic congestion. Alert bystanders helped the riders escape safely. The bike was completely gutted, and no injuries were reported

Hyderabad: A sudden fire broke out on a motorcycle on the Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge on Tuesday morning, triggering panic among commuters.

Two persons were riding the bike when flames erupted unexpectedly. Alert bystanders helped the riders stop the vehicle and move away in time, narrowly averting a major mishap.


Within minutes, the motorcycle was completely gutted by the fire. The incident caused heavy traffic congestion on the bridge, with vehicles coming to a standstill for several kilometres.

Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and brought the situation under control. No injuries were reported.
