Hyderabad: Bike thief held, four vehicles recovered from him

Hyderabad: The Gandhinagar police arrested a bike thief on Thursday and recovered four motorcycles from him.

The arrested Vonteddu Sai (36), a resident of Narsapur of Medak district, was involved in vehicle theft cases reported at Gandhinagar, Domalguda and Gopalapuram in the city. “Sai took away motorcycles parked in front of the houses after opening the lock using a duplicate key. He hid the vehicles and searched for a buyer for the stolen property. After selling the motorcycles, he used the money for his personal needs,’ said Gandhinagar Inspector, D Raju.

The police produced him before the court and remanded.
