Hyderabad: Blast rocks Telangana Spice Kitchen restaurant in Jubilee Hills, two injured

Following the blast, the wall at the backside of the hotel building got damaged and the debris landed on the houses at nearby Durga Bhavani locality

Hyderabad: At least two people, including a child, sustained injuries in a blast at Telangana Spice Kitchen in Jubilee Hills early on Sunday. The incident took place at around 4 am. There was a loud blast and flames engulfed the restaurant’s kitchen.

Following the blast, the wall at the backside of the hotel building got damaged and the debris landed on the houses at nearby Durga Bhavani locality.


A woman, identified as Pooja and her daughter, sustained minor injuries in the incident. Four dwellings of construction workers got damaged. The blast created confusion with people running helter-skelter. The Jubilee Hills police rushed to the spot and took up investigations.

The clues team visited the spot and collected some material from the spot. The officials are examining the spot to know exact reasons that led to the blast.
