Hyderabad: BLO alleges assault, death threat by Old City resident
A woman Booth Level Officer working in Hyderabad’s Old City has alleged that a local resident assaulted her and threatened to kill her. Police have registered a case based on her complaint and launched an investigation into the incident.
Hyderabad: A woman Booth Level Officer (BLO) working in the Old City has alleged that a local resident assaulted her and threatened to kill her.
In her complaint made to the police, the woman said she had been performing BLO duties for the past three months and had been facing harassment from the local resident identified as Hassan, for several days. She alleged that the man assaulted her on Saturday and threatened her when she objected.
The BLO said she told the man that she would approach the police, but a fellow employee and an officer intervened and stopped her from immediately lodging a complaint before.
Based on a complaint filed by the woman now the police registered a case and are investigating.
