Hyderabad: The body of a 27-year-old man was found with burns at Himayatsagar, Rajendranagar, early on Sunday, triggering suspicion of murder.

The man Mohd Amer (27), a resident of Shaikpet, Tolichowki, left his house on Saturday evening around 10 pm. On Sunday morning, some local people found his burnt body lying at an isolated place near Himayatsagar and alerted the police.

On information, the Rajendranagar police reached the spot and started an investigation. The body was afterwards shifted to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary.

M Muthu Yadav, Inspector, Rajendranagar, said that the case is being investigated from all angles. “There is no evidence at this stage to confirm that it is a case of murder. We are waiting for postmortem examination report,” said the Inspector.

The forensic doctors have reportedly told the police that it appears to be a case of suicide as there are no internal injuries and no signs of struggle at the crime scene.
