Hyderabad: Body of man with stab injuries found in Shadnagar
According to the police, the person, aged around 40 years, is suspected to have been killed during a brawl. Police said the body had stab injuries. Passers-by noticed the body around noon
Hyderabad: The body of an unidentified man was found in a secluded place at Kishan Nagar in Shadnagar on the city outskirts on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the police, the person, aged around 50 years, is suspected to have been killed during a brawl. Police said the injuries on the body indicated that he was stabbed with sharp objects. Passers-by noticed the body around noon and informed the Shadnagar police, who shifted the body to the district government mortuary for autopsy.
Senior police officials, who visited the spot, said it was yet to be ascertained if the victim was murdered at the spot or killed elsewhere and his body dumped there. The Clues Team and Dog squad also visited the spot.
Shadnagar Inspector A Sreedhar Kumar said two special teams were formed to identify the victim and to nab the killers. Footage from surveillance cameras in the surroundings is being examined.
