Hyderabad: Bomb threat email sent to Lok Bhavan and Praja Bhavan

Punjagutta police registered a case after Lok Bhavan staff received an email warning of bomb blasts at Lok Bhavan and Praja Bhavan. Security was increased and anti-sabotage checks were carried out. The police later confirmed it was a hoax email

Hyderabad: The Punjagutta police registered a case against unknown persons who had sent an email to the Lok Bhavan, at Khairatabad informing about plans to carry out bomb blasts.

The email was received on December 3, informing about plans to carry out bomb blast at Lok Bhavan, Khairatabad and Praja Bhavan, Somajiguda. The staff alerted the Punjagutta police who beefed up security and carried out anti-sabotage checks. The police later declared it a hoax email.


A case was registered at the Punjagutta police station.
