Hyderabad: Bomb threat triggers alert at Nampally criminal court

Hyderabad: Security personnel went into a tizzy after a bomb threat was received at the Nampally criminal court complex on Thursday.
An email was received by the Nampally court authorities stating that a bomb had been planted in the court premises and that it could explode at any time.
The information was passed on to the local police, who alerted the bomb disposal and detection units of the Hyderabad police. The teams conducted a thorough check of the court premises and later declared the threat to be a hoax.
Due to the bomb threat, advocates and members of the public were prevented from entering the court building until the anti-sabotage checks were completed.
