Hyderabad: In a landslide on the busy road between Goutham Nagar and Mallikarjun Nagar in Malkajgiri, a huge boulder rolled down, sparking tension and concern among the residents on Thursday.

The incident caused disruption to traffic and posed a threat to the safety of the local community. Police and DRF services were deployed to the scene to manage the situation and ensure the safety of those affected.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred due to a heavy downpour caused by Cyclone Montha. The incident occurred at around 12.30 pm on Thursday, when luckily the commuter movement was less on the road stretch. A local resident, Emmanuel, told Telangana Today, “The boulder came down with a huge sound and all of us were scared and worried.”
