Hyderabad boy bags first rank in ICET-2021

While R Lokesh from Hyderabad secured the first rank, P Sai Tajuna, Nakshantha and T Rajeshekhara Chakravarthi, all from Hyderabad secured second to fourth rank while the fifth ranker was Anand Paul from Gudlavalleru of Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh.

Warangal: The first four ranks in the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS-ICET)-2021 for admissions into MBA and MCA courses were bagged by boys from Hyderabad. The results were released at the Seminar Hall of the University College of Commerce and Business Management on the Kakatiya University (KU) campus here on Thursday.

While R Lokesh from Hyderabad secured the first rank, P Sai Tanuja, Navinakshanthra and T Rajeshekhara Chakravarthi, all from Hyderabad secured second to fourth rank while the fifth ranker was Anand Paul from Gudlavalleru of Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh.


“The candidates who appeared for the test can check their scores and rank besides downloading their rank card and final answer key from the website of the TSCHE at https://icet.tsche.ac.in. The Test was held for candidates seeking admission into MBA and MCA courses in the universities and their constituent and affiliated colleges in the Telangana State for the academic year 2021-2022,” said Chairman of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) Prof P Limbadri.

He said a total of 56,962 candidates appeared for the test, and 51,316 qualified for admission. He further said that in TS-ICET-2020, 58,392 candidates registered, while 41,506 qualified for admission into the MBA and MCA. “The dates for counselling will be declared after the release of the degree results in the State,” Prof Limbadri added.

The test was held for the candidates seeking admission into MBA and MCA courses in the universities and their constituent and affiliated colleges in the Telangana State for the academic the year 2021-22 on August 19 and 20 in 10 regional centres in the State and four centres in Andhra Pradesh.

ICET-2021 Convenor Prof.K.Raji Reddy said that the Kakatiya University had conducted the test ten times. KU VC Prof T Ramesh, TSCHE former chairman Prof T Papi Reddy, KU Registrar Prof B Venkatram Reddy, Former Dean, Faculty of Arts Prof (Rtd) Vooradi Srinivas and others were present at the press meet.
