Hyderabad: About 11 British startups and companies presented their industry solutions at the B2G ‘UK – Telangana Emerging Tech Connect’ event to more than 70 participants across Police, Forensic, Health, Education, Power, Traffic, Municipal Administration, Fire and Disabled Welfare Departments.
The event held on Friday was part of the partnership of the Emerging Technologies wing ( IT Dept) that it recently forged with the Department of International Trade (UK Govt) and the office of the British Deputy High Commission in Hyderabad.
“Telangana is always looking to support and leverage innovative solutions and products. The Tech Exchange with UK Government aims to leverage international innovations and bring them here across areas like Healthcare, Law Enforcement, and eGovernance,” said IT Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan. UK Department of International Trade Technology Head KT Rajan and Trade – South Asia Deputy Director Sanu de Lima and Telangana Emerging Technologies Director Rama Devi Lanka were present, a release said.
