Hyderabad: The Rachakonda SOT team along with Neredmet police busted a prostitution racket and arrested an organiser and two customers on Monday night after raiding a brothel at Maruthinagar. A woman was rescued during the raid.
The arrested persons are identified as Guthela Satyavathi (62) organiser, D Srinivas Reddy (55) and Appala Vardhan (46), customers. The main organiser Kranthi Kumar is absconding.
Satyavathi was contacting customers and charging between Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 5,000 from them for arranging the girls. On information a raid was conducted and the persons caught.
“Kranthi Kumar and Satyavathi were luring women from different States on pretext of arranging jobs and forcing them into prostitution,” said Rachakonda CP Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat.
