Hyderabad: BRS leader G Srinivas Yadav arrested over Mahaa news office attack
On Saturday night, the police went to Telangana Bhavan on coming to know about the presence of Srinivas Yadav, and arrested him. The BRS party workers condemned the arrest and staged a protest at the Telangana Bhavan leading to tension in the area
HYDERABAD: The Jubilee Hills police on Saturday night arrest Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader G Srinivas Yadav in connection with the attack on Mahaa news channel office.
On Saturday afternoon, few persons following some derogatory reports on the Mahaa news channel against former Chief Minister and BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao and KT Rama Rao attacked the office and damaged some articles.
A case was registered at Jubilee Hills police station against the people who attacked the office.
In the night, the police went to Telangana Bhavan, the BRS party office, on coming to know about the presence of Srinivas Yadav, and arrested him.
The BRS party workers condemned the arrest and staged a protest at the Telangana Bhavan leading to tension in the area.
