Hyderabad: A local court here in Malkajgiri, sentenced a burglar to three years of rigorous imprisonment. The convicted person Shaik Jamsheed (40), from West Bengal was involved in 55 burglaries since 2002.
Jamsheed, who came to the city for work committed burglaries and thefts in Hyderabad and Rachakonda Police limits. He was arrested several times and also detained under the Preventive Detention Act twice.
He was recently arrested by the Malkajgiri police in July and jailed. Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat appreciated the investigation officer and team for their efforts in securing a conviction.
