Hyderabad: The Jeedimetla police nabbed Venu Kumar, an auto-rickshaw driver who is involved in several burglar cases and recovered stolen material worth Rs 11 lakh on Thursday.

Jeedimetla Police analyzed the footage from over 160 surveillance cameras along possible escape routes. By matching the modus operandi with the known offenders and verifying suspect data, the team successfully identified and nabbed Venu Kumar.
Venu Kumar, along with his associates was previously involved in more than 30 burglary cases in Cyberabad and was sent to jail. Earlier he was detained under the Preventive Detention Act by Cyberabad Police as well. However, he continued burglaries after being released from jail.
