Hyderabad: Unidentified persons broke into a house at Vanasthalipuram on Saturday and decamped with gold and silver ornaments.
The owner of the house S Pradeep Reddy went out with his family on Saturday afternoon and returned home in the night only to find the lock on the main door broken. The man went inside the house and noticed the cupboard open and ornaments missing.
“The miscreants took away around 37 tolas of gold and 5 kg silver articles along with Rs.30,000 cash. A case is booked,” said Vanasthalipuram Inspector, K. Satyanarayana.
Three teams were formed by the police to identify and nab the offenders.
