Hyderabad: Burglars on a looting spree targeted three houses in a row at Indraprastha Colony in Bandlaguda in the wee hours of Thursday.
They allegedly decamped with Rs 3 lakh and three tolas of gold ornaments. The incident occurred when the house owners locked their homes and went out.
According to the police, it is suspected that the burglars broke into the houses by damaging the main door locks post-midnight, opened the almirahs and flicked cash and other valuables before fleeing. The incident came to light when the residents returned.
The LB Nagar police have booked a case and are investigating.
