Hyderabad: Burglars flee with 21 tolas of gold and Rs 1 lakh cash from Rajendranagar home
Unidentified burglars broke into Swapna’s house in Rajendranagar’s Krishnanagar Colony on Wednesday, escaping with 21 tolas of gold and Rs 1 lakh in cash. The family discovered the theft upon returning from a birthday celebration. Police have registered a case and launched investigations.
Hyderabad: Unidentified assailants broke into a house in Rajendranagar on Wednesday and fled with gold ornaments and cash while the family was away, police said.
The burglary occurred at the residence of Swapna in Krishnanagar Colony. Swapna had left home to celebrate her son’s birthday at a relative’s house. Upon returning that night, the family found the house ransacked and 21 tolas of gold ornaments and Rs 1 lakh in cash missing.
Swapna reported the theft to Rajendranagar Police, who have registered a case and launched an investigation. Officials said they are reviewing CCTV footage and conducting door‑to‑door inquiries to trace the culprits.
