Hyderabad: Businessman murdered over financial disputes in Saroornagar

Hyderabad: A businessman was killed by some persons over a financial dispute at Saroornagar.
M Eshwar, (38), a resident of New Hafeezpet, was having some financial disputes with one Shanker, a realtor for last few months. Vijayan, who is a cousin of Eshwar, asked him to come Karmanghat to resolve the issue with Shanker.
On October 31, Eshwar came to Karmanghat, where Shanker and Vijayan also came. The trio along with some other people went to a bar and restaurant and consumed liquor. However, the issue could not be resolved and Eshwar came out from the premises.
“Eshwar was standing outside the bar when Shanker, drove his car and at a high speed rammed into Eshwar. As the man fell and was trying to escape from the place, Shanker again drove the car and drove into Eshwar and ran over him,” said Saroornagar Inspector, V Saidi Reddy.
Eshwar, who was injured in the incident, was rushed to a private hospital where he died while undergoing treatment on Friday. The Saroornagar police registered a case and are investigating.
Source said, Eshwar worked as constable with Hyderabad police and after he was found to be maintaining a gang of thieves, the police higher ups had dismissed him from service.
