Hyderabad: Panic broke out for a while at Khairatabad Road in the city on Sunday night after a fire broke out in a car. No casualties were reported.

According to the police, the car was on the run on the Khairatabad metro station road when flames burst in the car. On noticing the fire, the car driver rushed out of the car, and within minutes the fire rapidly spread and engulfed the car.

A fire tender reached the spot and doused the flames. The officials suspect the fire started due to a short circuit in the vehicle.
