Hyderabad: A car wreaked havoc at the Taj Krishna Hotel in Banjara Hills on Tuesday. It hit the road median and climbed up it. No casualties were reported.
A major life threat was averted as there was no one on the road when the incident occurred. As per available information, the car, which was allegedly being driven in a rash and negligent manner proceeding from Punjagutta towards Masab Tank, went out of control and first crashed into the road median and jumped onto the median and halted after hitting.
The Banjara Hills police are investigating whether the driver of the car was under the influence of alcohol. The CCTV footage from the nearby spots is being examined. The incident led to traffic congestion on the busy route.
