Hyderabad: Pulse Heart Super Specialty Hospital announced successful Totally Endoscopic Coronary Revascularization via Thoracotomy (TCRAT), a minimally invasive surgery that is used to perform bypass surgery.

Instead of performing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) that involves open heart surgery with a large incision and splitting of the breast bone, the TCRACT is performed through a small incision.

The patient benefits from reduced pain, minimal scarring, shorter hospital stay, and faster return to normal life, while achieving surgical completeness equivalent to traditional open-heart bypass surgery, Dr. M.S.S.
