Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police have registered a case against BJP leader DK Aruna’s daughter on charges of attacking and abusing a construction supervisor after trespassing into a plot adjacent to her house last month.
Police said M Eelesha Babu, a resident of Borabanda, had approached a local court stating that Aruna’s daughter DK Shruthi Reddy had trespassed into a plot next to her house and abused him when he was involved in construction of a compound wall.
Babu alleged that Shruthi Reddy along with others had also abused and threatened him and damaged tools during the incident on January 14.
Based on directions of the court, the Banjara Hills police booked the case under various sections of IPC and the SC/ST Act and are investigating.
