Hyderabad: Case against institute cheating students under pretext of offering medical course training 

The management admitted the candidates in Bachelor Degree courses and on completion of the course gave certificates issued by a university in Uttar Pradesh.

Hyderabad: The Punjagutta police on Monday registered a case against the management of an institute engaged in offering training in different medical courses for allegedly cheating students.

According to the police, the Managing Director Akash and Principal Prasad, of Amrita Institute of Management & Medical Sciences (AIMMS), located at Ameerpet collected huge amounts from several students assuring to provide degree on completion of the medical courses.


The management admitted the candidates in Bachelor Degree courses and on completion of the course gave certificates issued by a university in Uttar Pradesh.

The students realized that they were duped when they approached hospitals for job and were informed that the certificates are not valid in Telangana.

The students held a protest at Punjagutta and made a complaint against the institution.

A case is registered and investigation going on. About 400 students were duped by the institute.
