Hyderabad: The Rein Bazaar police registered a case against eight social media content creators for allegedly uploading details of a victim of sexual exploitation on social media platforms.

The victim had earlier lodged a complaint against Omer Jabri, a resident of Mir Chowk and a case was registered against him at Mir Chowk police station.

After the arrest of the man in the case, the family members of the suspect organized a media conference and rubbished the claims made by victim alleging that the woman was extorting money from Omer Jabri.

The family members allegedly shared some social media accounts of the victim woman and the content was uploaded by the social media platforms by the content creators.
