Hyderabad: The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) is organising its annual Open Day celebrations online between September 23 and 26. The four-day celebrations will be filled with insightful discussions with scientists on their research and feature special discussions on how the research is helping farmers and conservation and how to become a scientist from life science entrepreneurs.
The CCMB has made arrangements to live stream events like experimental demonstration, talks, panel discussions and quiz competitions on You Tube.
The talks that will be part of the Open Day celebrations will be delivered by senior CCMB scientists including Dr Rakesh Mishra, Dr Chandak and CCMB Director, Dr Vinay Nandicoori. As part of educational outreach programme, a special interaction session on ‘How to become a scientist?’ will also be held by students of CCMB.
The annual Open Day celebrations at CCMB are much awaited scientific events for school children in Hyderabad. However, since the Covid-19 pandemic, the event are held online. For details and registrations: www.ccmb.res.in
