Hyderabad: CCS launches raids against QNET over alleged multi-crore financial fraud

Hyderabad Central Crime Station police conducted raids across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka against multi-level marketing firm QNET over alleged financial fraud. Twenty-five special teams carried out coordinated searches as cases against the company rose to eight.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Central Crime Station (CCS) police have launched extensive raids against multi-level marketing firm QNET over allegations of large scale financial fraud.

As per information available, simultaneous searches were carried out across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka on Monday.


According to officials, as many as 25 special teams have been deployed to conduct coordinated inspections in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, targeting locations linked to the company and its associates.

CCS officials allege that the firm collected hundreds of crores of rupees from the public under the guise of a multi-level marketing scheme. The crackdown intensified after two fresh cases were registered recently, taking the total number of cases against QNET at the CCS to eight.

It is learnt that the police have identified at least 20 individuals suspected to be involved in the operation.

Further investigation is on and more arrests are likely in the coming days.
