Hyderabad: CCTV cameras help cops trace lost bag of gold
Mohammed Raheem Pasha, a teacher had purchased a gold necklace and a pair of earrings and was returning home on Monday evening when he realised the bag with the ornaments had gone missing.
Hyderabad: The CCTV camera network in the city once again proved handy for cops here with the Chandrayangutta police tracing a bag containing gold ornaments, which a teacher had lost while returning home on Monday, and handing it over to him.
The teacher, Mohammed Raheem Pasha, had purchased a gold necklace and a pair of earrings and was returning home on Monday evening when he realised the bag with the ornaments had gone missing. Pasha immediately approached the Chandrayangutta, who with the help of the CCTV camera footage in the area traced the bag within a short time.
On Tuesday afternoon, the police called Pasha and informed him that the bag was traced. An elated Pasha came to the police station and collected the gold ornaments. He thanked the police for their prompt response and for bailing him out of the miserable situation.
