Hyderabad celebrates the Retail Employees Day with a ‘R.E.D Walk’

Hyderabad: The Retailers Association of India’s Hyderabad Chapter organized a Retail Employees Day, bringing together over 2,500 retail employees from more than 30 retailers from Telangana for the R.E.D Walk, a 1 km oneness walk around Hitec City, on Thursday.
The event featured a series of engaging activities, including Zumba sessions and lively dance performances, culminating in the 1 km walk.
Avnish Kumar, Chairman of RAI – Hyderabad Chapter and Managing Director of Neeru’s, described it as a one-of-a-kind initiative by any retail body across India, where state-originated retailers came forward to celebrate the day with their employees on such a large scale.
Jayakumar, Vice-Chairman of RAI and CEO – Apollo Pharmacies said, “this year’s Retail Employees Day has set a benchmark for future celebrations, promising continued support and recognition for the hardworking individuals who drive the retail sector”
RAI is the premier association representing the retail sector in India, dedicated to promoting the growth of retail businesses and advocating for their interests across the nation, a press release said.
