Hyderabad: On the occasion of World Senior Citizens Day on August 21, the Centre for Sight Group of Hospitals on Wednesday announced collaboration with fitness expert and actor Milind Soman for a special campaign.
The collaboration between the Centre for Sight Hospitals and Milind Soman will seek to spread awareness on the importance of timely intervention in age-related eye diseases.
A senior eye specialist from the Centre for Sight, which has several health care centers in Hyderabad, has advised senior citizens never to ignore early signs such as blurred vision, dull colours, halos at night, or difficulty reading.
“Eye health defines dignity, confidence, and independence in old age. No one should accept poor vision as an inevitable part of ageing, because with today’s technology and expertise, they don’t have to,” said Dr Mahipal S Sachdev, Chairman & Medical Director, Centre for Sight Group of Eye Hospitals.
