Hyderabad: A local court on Thursday convicted four members of the infamous ‘Chaddi gang’ to undergo three years rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs.10,000 on them.
The Meerpet police had arrested the four persons – Rama Badhiya, Kishan Badhiya, Ravoji Bhadiya and Khajo Mavoji, all natives of Dahod district of Gujarat in 2018 for their involvement in two cases. A special team had arrested the persons following a spate of crimes involving the gang in Telangana. The gang was involved in 28 burglaries and robberies in Telangana, A.P and other States.
Rachakonda Police had invoked PD Act against the gang after their arrest and ensued speedy trail of their cases while they were in prison.
