Hyderabad: Chandrayangutta police arrest man for murder of 11-year-old stepson
Chandrayangutta police arrested a 31-year-old painter for allegedly killing his 11-year-old stepson by slamming the child’s head against a road during an argument. The boy died after five days of treatment. CCTV footage confirmed the assault.

Hyderabad: The Chandrayangutta Police have arrested Shaik Imran (31), a painter, for the brutal killing of his 11-year-old stepson, Mohd Asghar, a student and resident of GM Colony, Chandrayangutta.
According to police, the incident occurred on December 7, when Imran allegedly assaulted the minor in front of their house following a complaint by a local boy. In a fit of anger, Imran is said to have lifted the child by his collar and slammed his head against the concrete road, causing serious head injuries.
The injured boy was first taken to Owaisi Hospital and later shifted to Gandhi Hospital, where his condition deteriorated. He succumbed to his injuries on December 12 while undergoing treatment.
Based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s mother, police booked a case and the CCTV footage from the area reportedly confirmed the assault.
