Hyderabad: Chennai Shopping Mall donates ALS ambulance to NIMS
The Chennai Shopping Mall donated a fully equipped Advanced Life Support ambulance to NIMS, Hyderabad, to strengthen emergency healthcare services. The initiative was facilitated by Hyderabad youth organisations under their “Rise & Shine” community service programme.

Hyderabad: A fully-equipped Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance has been donated to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, by The Chennai Shopping Mall.
The donated ambulance will enhance patient transportation and emergency healthcare services, thereby benefiting a large number of patients seeking treatment at NIMS, a press release said.
The donation was made possible through generous support from Chairman, The Chennai Shopping Mall, Marri Venkat Reddy, its CEO Shankar, and CFO Sanjay Heda, as part of their commitment towards strengthening public healthcare services.
The Hyderabad Youth Round Table 304 (HYRT 304) and Hyderabad Youth Ladies Circle 167 (HYLC 167) as part of their community service initiatives under the annual theme “Rise & Shine”, facilitated the donation.
The ambulance was formally handed over in the presence of representatives of The Chennai Shopping Mall, members of Round Table India and Ladies Circle India, to Director, NIMS, Dr N Bheerappa and senior doctors.
The Director and staff of NIMS expressed their gratitude to The Chennai Shopping Mall for its generous contribution, the release added.
