Hyderabad: A teenager leapt to death from a building at Chandanagar and died by suicide on Sunday.
According to the police, the boy Advaith Kimothi (13) was studying in eighth standard at a private school and lived along with his family at an apartment building in Nallagandla in Chandanagar police station limits.
On Sunday, the boy’s father Amith Kimothi asked him to concentrate more on studies and focus on his career. “Angry over it, the boy reportedly jumped from the balcony of his house,” said Chandanagar Sub Inspector, Ahmed Pasha.
The building occupants, who noticed the boy lying in the compound of the apartment in a pool of blood, alerted the police and the family members who rushed him to hospital where doctors pronounced dead. A case was registered by the Chandanagar police station and investigation taken up.
