Hyderabad: Filmmaker and social media user Kartik Dayanand has highlighted the persistent issue of illegal parking and traffic congestion near the Babylon Club in Nanakramguda.
In a recent post tagging Cyberabad Traffic Police on X (formerly Twitter), Kartik brought to their notice the traffic chaos and alleged illegal parking that led to congestion during the night, especially on weekends.
Responding to his post, the Cyberabad Traffic Police acknowledged the concern and stated that the issue had been forwarded to the Traffic Inspector concerned for necessary action and enforcement.
However, Kartik alleged that the problem continued without any improvement and expressed doubt over whether the police had taken any measures.
In another post, Kartik wrote, “It’s been a week since you said you would look into the matter of illegal parking and traffic congestion caused by the Babylon Club. This is the situation from earlier today. Please let us know what action you are taking to fix this issue.”
Residents have also urged the authorities to regulate parking and improve traffic management in the busy Nanakramguda nightlife zone, which often witnesses severe congestion on weekends.
