Hyderabad: Tension prevailed for a while at Tolichowki when two groups clashed over a property issue on Saturday night.

According to the police, there is a dispute between one Shakeel Khan, a resident of Golconda and Akhtar of Nizam colony Tolichowki.

On Saturday night, around 11 pm Akhtar and Shakeel met to discuss the issue when an argument took place between them. Soon a mob came and allegedly attacked the residence of Akhtar.

On information, the police rushed to the spot but the people managed to escape from there.

Humayunnagar Detective Inspector, G Balakrishna said the police control room received a call about firing by some persons during the quarrel. “We verified the information and found it is false. A quarrel did take place between Shakeel and Akhtar. Legal action will be initiated,” said the Inspector.

The police, however, are verifying the footages of the closed circuit cameras installed in surroundings.
