Hyderabad: A minor girl, who left home for shopping, was reported missing from Kachiguda on Saturday.
The girl, Akshitha (15), a Class 10 student, had informed her parents that she was going for shopping along with her friends in the morning. However, she did not return home and remained untraced even on Monday.
Police said her parents, unable to find her, lodged a complaint with the police, who booked a case and took up investigation. Police are examining footage from surveillance cameras in the colony and surroundings to trace her.
Meanwhile, in another case, a cab driver was reported missing from Chandrayangutta on Sunday. Mohammed Rehman (24), a resident of Tower Galli in Hashamabad went out but did not return home. His mobile phone was also switched off. The family members, unable to trace his whereabouts from relatives and friends, approached the Chandrayangutta police on Sunday. The police have registered a case and started efforts to trace him.
