Hyderabad: Class X student dies by suicide in Miyapur

A 16-year-old Class X student died by suicide at his residence in Miyapur on Monday. Police said he was reportedly distressed over difficulties with his studies. The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital, and an investigation is underway.

Hyderabad: A 16-year-old Class X student died by suicide at his residence in Subhash Chandra Bose Nagar in Miyapur on Monday.

The victim, identified as Mallikarjun (16), was living with his parents in the locality.

According to information available, he was reportedly distressed over difficulties with his studies and took the extreme step at home.

On receiving information, Miyapur police reached the spot and shifted the body to the Gandhi Hospital.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances that led to the incident.
