Hyderabad: The CMR College of Engineering and Technology (CMRCET) has organized AZURA 2K22, a national level technical fest and Brain Rain 2K22, a project exhibition for school students, on the college campus here on Saturday.
The AZURA 2K22 received 1,870 registrations from CMRCET and other college students. The events like paper presentation, poster presentation, project expo, programming contest (freshmen code cup), quiz, content writing, gaming, photography contest, sports etc., were organized.
Nearly 40 innovative ideas were acknowledged in various papers and problem statements from nearly 20 colleges along with CMRCET, according to a press release.
Over 100 different projects from school students including 18 from ZPH schools were received for the Brain Rain 2K22, out of which 88 were shortlisted and exhibited during the event. The best three projects were awarded cash prizes.
Dr. Ravindra Gupta, Vice Chancellor, Telangana University, Dr Ch Gopal Reddy, Chairman, CMR Group of Institutions, Ch Srisailam Reddy, Secretary, CMR Group of Institutions, Srinivas Reddy, DSO, Medchal, and Dr. VA Narayana, Principal, CMRCET participated in the events.
