Hyderabad Collector Harichandana Dasari tours SATG shooting range

Hyderabad: The Telangana Rifle Association (TRA) informed on Saturday that Harichandana Dasari, IAS, and Hyderabad District Collector, visited the SATG shooting range along with her daughter.
The Collector took a detailed tour of the various shooting setups, including the 10M Air Rifle & Pistol Range, 25M Pistol Range, 50M Rifle & Pistol Range, and the Trap Ranges.
Mrs. Harichandana and her daughter actively participated in a live shooting session, reflecting keen interest and enthusiasm for the sport. She noted that further enhancement and modernization of the range facilities would significantly contribute to the growth of shooting sports and support Telangana’s athletes in achieving greater success both nationally and internationally.
The Telangana Rifle Association team — led by Amit Sanghi, President, Wasif Hassan Lateef, Senior Vice President, and J. Kiran, General Secretary — extended a warm welcome to the District Collector and honored her with a shawl as a mark of respect and appreciation.
The Collector also interacted with shooters training at the facility, commending their dedication, discipline, and competitive accomplishments. She appreciated the Association’s continuous efforts in promoting shooting sports and nurturing young and emerging talent across the state.
“The Collector’s visit served as an encouraging and motivating moment for the athletes and the shooting community. The Telangana Rifle Association expressed its gratitude to Smt. Harichandana Dasari for her gracious visit and her continued support in strengthening the sporting ecosystem in Telangana,” Amit Sanghi said in a statement.
